RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

1. Overview
At SOLSONA KNIVES, we take pride in the quality of our products. Please read this Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms set out below.

2. EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), customers located within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days of the date on which you, or a third party designated by you, physically receives the goods ("cooling-off period"), without giving any reason.
2.1 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To initiate a return, email us before the 14-day period expires at:

Your notification must clearly state your name, order number, and your intent to withdraw. We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal request promptly.
2.2 Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, unsharpened, and with all original packaging and documentation intact.

Items that show signs of use, modification, or damage caused by the customer will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

SOLSONA KNIVES reserves the right to reduce the refund amount to reflect any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
2.3 Return Shipping Costs (Non-Defective Items)
For standard (non-defective) returns within the cooling-off period, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as SOLSONA KNIVES cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit during the return.
2.4 Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, we will process your refund within 14 calendar days of receiving the return. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow a few additional business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
3. Defective or Incorrect Items — All Customers (EU & Non-EU)
If you have received an item that is defective, damaged upon arrival, or incorrect, SOLSONA KNIVES will remedy the situation at no cost to you, regardless of your location.
3.1 Reporting a Defect
You must report any defect, damage, or error within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods by contacting us in writing with:

Your full name and order number

A clear description of the defect or issue

Photographic evidence of the defect or damage
Failure to report within this window may affect your eligibility for a remedy.
3.2 Remedy — Replacement First
For defective items, our primary and preferred remedy is a replacement of the same item. SOLSONA KNIVES will cover all shipping costs associated with returning the defective item and dispatching the replacement.
In the exceptional circumstance where a replacement is not possible (e.g. the item is permanently out of stock), a full refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase.
4. Non-EU Customers — General Returns
Customers located outside the European Union do not benefit from the EU statutory right of withdrawal. Returns from non-EU customers are only accepted in the case of a defective or incorrect item, subject to the conditions set out in Section 3 above.
No returns will be accepted for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or any other reason not related to a product defect or error on our part.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

Items that have been used, sharpened, or modified in any way

Items returned without prior written authorization from SOLSONA KNIVES

Items returned after the applicable return window has expired
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are non-refundable by SOLSONA KNIVES.
